I spent a few courses at Miami University learning how to code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I developed the website featured on the left from scratch and worked on it through these classes.

I had to follow specific design requirements for these courses and I would have liked to have more freedom in that aspect for this project. However, the main purpose of this projects was to familiarize myself with the different features of the coding and practice different functions.
UX Website Redesign
My task for this project was to choose an existing website and practice the methods of user testing and user experience development.

I chose Vimeo and I did some user testing on the original website. I wanted to create a completely new look for the website that would address issues that I had noticed during the user testing.

These prototypes to the right featured my solutions to the user experience problems. They were tested again with the same users. My results were that the problems previously noted were solved, but the users preferred the design of the original website more than the prototype design.
